In Marketing You Need To Focus On The Benefits

 by: Peter Geisheker

In this marketing article I discuss the most important element of marketing - turning features into powerful benefits. If you want to increase sales, you must focus on the benefits of your product or service, not the features.

So what is a benefit compared to a feature?

A benefit explains how a product or service will help a person. If I buy this product, how will it make my life better? Will it save me money? Will it make me feel better about myself? Will it make my life easier? Benefits are very powerful sales tools because people buy products and services for an end result.

A feature explains a fact about what a product does such as a specification. For example, the new ZMX car has anti-lock brakes. That is a fact about the car - it has anti-lock brakes. The problem with only listing a feature is that a feature does not explain why it is helpful - how it benefits a person. Why would you want a car with anti-lock brakes? The answer to that question is the benefit. Anti-lock brakes are much safer because they keep your tires from locking up and skidding so you do not lose control of your car. Therefore, if you drive a car that has anti-lock brakes, you are less likely to be in an accident. The benefit is the positive end result. In your marketing, it is that positive end result that you want to focus on.

Here is another example. XYZ Car Company has developed a new car that gets 100 miles per gallon. The feature is that the car gets 100 miles per gallon. But what is the benefit? Why would a person want a car that gets 100 miles per gallon? The benefit is that you will save a fortune on buying fuel.

If you want to improve your marketing and increase sales, you absolutely must focus on the benefits of your product or service. Whenever you say what your product does (a feature), ask yourself, "how will that feature help my customer? What is the benefit of that feature?"

Car Care Tips ? How to Keep Your Car in Immaculate Condition

 by: Paul MacIver

There are several things you must do to keep your car in immaculate condition and retain its value.
Apart from regular mechanical servicing and maintenance, your car must also be groomed regularly to keep it looking like new.
This means more than simply putting it through the carwash each week.
Although it takes a bit longer, you?ll find that hand grooming your car achieves a far better result.
There?s no need to spend a lot of money on car care products, however you will need to buy a few.
These are some tips I use every time I clean my car.

Exterior

Rinse your car down to get rid of excess dirt, and then wash it with a sponge and soapy water.
Once you?ve washed the whole car, rinse it off and then dry it with a soft cloth.

Understanding Your Auto Warranty

Understanding Your Auto Warranty

 by: Matthew Noel

The auto warranty is something everyone thinks about when they are purchasing a car, but few of these people realize that they need to think about it after that as well. You go into a dealership, which convinces you to purchase an auto that is perfect for you. What seals the deal, in many cases, is the fact that the auto has an auto warranty on it. You think that they could not or would not offer a warranty on a product that wasn?t up to standards. So, you purchase your car and get your auto warranty.

Regardless of the car, the make or model number, you simply shove that auto warranty into the glove box and call it done. But, what you need to do is to know what is covered on that warranty, what you need to do to get those services, and what you need to do to keep that warranty up to date.

Getting the information that you need to make a decision about your auto warranty is also important....

Volvo Spoilers for a Better-looking Volvo

Volvo Spoilers for a Better-looking Volvo

 by: Terry Brown

You sure do own a Volvo. It may not be known much for speed or racing but definitely it has been recognized for safety and luxury. Something to serve as a means of transportation for you and your crew and, at the same time, something to keep you safe and sound on little escapades with your Volvo. Aside from that, Volvo, at the same time, strives to provide you a vehicle friendly to the environment (this has been one of the commitments of the company who created Volvo).

And with the passing of time, just like cellular phones, Volvo has come to do some innovations, evolve, and revolutionize the vehicle they created, and still keep up with the commitments they have had. One such innovation and addition to the Volvo evolution is the Volvo spoiler.

What exactly is this spoiler, you may ask? Well, the Volvo spoiler is an aerodynamic device that is attached to an automobile to decrease...
